75mm Resita Model 1943 Anti Tank Gun

Developed in 1942, the Romanian 75mm Resita Model 1943 combined the best features of the Russian ZIS-3 and the German Pak40. It saw service against both the Russians and the Germans and in subsequent operations to clear Austria and Czechoslovakia. Over 340 were built between 1943 and 1945. It had almost as few parts and the ZIS-3 and a higher muzzle velocity than the Pak40 giving it better penetrative power. However, this higher muzzle velocity shortened its barrel life to only 500 rounds.
