Sd Kfz 181 Tiger I (Mid) w. Zimmerit & Kubelwagen

The legendary Tiger I first saw service in 1942 in North Africa and at the same time on the Russain Front. With the fearsome 88mm it became a legend amongst the enemy especially in Normandy when a lone Tiger in the hands of Michael Whittman virtually singlehandedly stopped the British 7th Armoured Division in it's tracks. The Kubelwagen was produced by VW and was the German equivalent of the Willy's Jeep. A very cheap vehicle to make, the Germans turned them out in their thousands.
