Armoured Train Dzerzhinets

The Armoured Train Dzerzhinets was built in Russia in 1942 in the Moscow Gorky depot of the Dzerzhinsky Rail line. The first version had a type OV armoured locomotive with AA defense - quad Maxim machine guns - and four armoured cars. Each armoured car was fitted a T-28 turret with a 76mm KT-28 gun and six machine guns - 4 in turrets and 2 in the hull. The Dzerzhinets was involved in breaking the siege at Lenningrad and remained in service until 1946.
