Tatra V755 Aerosled

In 1942, the German Army ordered a machine designed specifically for travelling over snowy plains. Based on the Tatra T-97, The V755 was the result. Only one was built. It featured four ski steering and dual mode propulsion with the propeller joined to a rotating snow traction drum which also functioned as a brake. In addition the rear skis had brakes. It was powered by a V8 aircooled engine producing 75bhp giving it a top speed of 50mph. Sometimes also known as the V855
