150mm Nebelwerfer 41

Developed in the 1930s, the Nebelwefer 41 ("Smoke Thrower") was a towed rocket launcher in German service between 1940 and 1945. Capable of firing a six rocket salvo over a period of 10 seconds the Nebelwefer's 150mm projectiles produced a very distinctive howling sound. This lead to the Allies nicknaming the weapon the "Moaning Minnie" or "Screaming Mimi".
