Armoured Self propelled Railroad Car DT-45

The DT-45 Armoured Self Propelled Railroad Car was developed in 1933 from the earlier D-37 as a scout car for armoured trains. The DT-45 used the D-37 hull with a T-26 tank turret armed with a 45mm gun. While successfully tested, the DT-45 did not enter service due to a shortage of manufacturing capability. However the car, crewed by 7 men, was used as a traing car prior to WWII The kit includes a section of railroad track for display purposes and photo-etched parts.
