KV-T Armoured Tractor

Named after a marshall of the Soviet Union - Klementy Voroshilov - th KV heavy tank was the third in a trio of designs in 1938 for a replacement for the T-35. The KV-T utilised the power of the KV-1 by removing the turret and employing the chassis in an armoured tractor role. The KV-T could be used for towing artillery but was more commonly used for recovering damaged tanks from the battlefield.
