The UH-1 was a mutli purpose military helicopter made famous during the Vietnam war. The UH-1C was designed as a stop gap Attack Helicopter until the Bell Huey AH-1G Cobra was available. It was refereed to as the "Huey Hog". The UH-1C could be armed with 2 x 19 round 2.75 inch rocket pods. Development of the UH-1C started in 1960 with production starting in 1966.
